🔍 From Top to Bottom: How the Football Hierarchy Has Been Rewritten

📅 Patch Update • Real-Time Tables, Sponsor Surge, Contract Changes & Discipline Overhaul

📡 Weekly Standings Are Now Live — The Table Evolves in Real Time!

Say goodbye to the old days of waiting until the season finale to see the final table. The league has taken a major step into the future with the brand-new Live Standings System, which means tables will now update in real time after each game week. ⚽🆙

Here’s how it works: when streaming matches, we usually progress week-by-week — Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, and so on. Previously, league tables were only fully updated after the final week, meaning teams often had no idea where they stood until the season ended. But not anymore. From now on, the table will be automatically refreshed after every week of action. Week 1 ends? You’ll see who’s flying high and who’s drowning. Week 2 wraps up? The table reflects it instantly.

This change means players, managers, and fans alike will now be able to track momentum in real time. You’ll see the early title contenders rise 🏆, mid-table battles form, and relegation fears creep in as they happen. It adds drama. It adds tension. And most importantly — it brings the league closer to reality. When the season ends, we’ll all be able to scroll back through the weeks and reflect on every rise and fall, every climb and collapse.

⚠️ This change is permanent. Live standings are now core to how the league operates. Welcome to the next era.

🗑️ Division Fixtures Wiped — But Not All Is Lost

It’s time for a bit of disappointing — but necessary — news. The County League Divisions 1 through 3 have had their fixtures fully wiped. Due to internal restructuring, file conflicts, and backend issues (you know the tech never behaves when you want it to 😤), the decision has been made to remove all stored fixtures for these lower-tier divisions.

💥 What’s gone?

All match fixtures for County Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 are gone and won’t be replaced. There will be no record of match-by-match results or fixture outcomes moving forward for these tiers.

What’s staying?

Despite this loss, the league tables for those divisions will still be updated. So if your team plays in D1, D2, or D3 — don’t worry, your hard work is still being counted. The league structure and standings are not broken, only the specific matches leading up to them are no longer viewable.

🏛️ The Main County League remains fully intact, with all fixtures, results, and standings operating as normal. This is a localized change strictly for the Divisions.

Yes, it stings a little. But consider it a soft reset — and a chance for fresh tracking systems to be implemented in future patches. 🙏

💰 Sponsors Are Coming… And They’re Permanent

Hold onto your wallets. A major financial shift is coming to the league, and it's arriving in the form of club sponsorships — a feature that will change the way your budgets, spending, and income work forever. 📢📈

👔 Only Main League Teams Will Have Access
This initial rollout of sponsorships is being limited to Main League clubs only. Foundation League and County League teams won’t have access just yet, though this could expand in future seasons. The sponsor system is designed to elevate the big stage and reward those playing under the brightest lights.

🏷️ Sponsors Will Cost Money — They’re Not Free!
This isn’t just a skin or a badge you slap on your club. Sponsors will come with permanent benefits, but they will also have a one-time purchase cost pulled from your club’s budget. You’ll need to invest wisely — because they won’t be cheap, and there are no refunds.

🧪 Sponsors Are Still Being Developed
We’re still in the lab 🧪 putting together the structure, categories, and effects of each sponsor. Some may provide cash boosts 💷, some might boost visibility, and some may have gameplay consequences in the future 👀. Expect a rolling update over the next few weeks.

🎁 To Help Out… £100,000 Has Been Given to Every Main League Team

In preparation for this sponsor system, and to avoid punishing clubs who don’t yet know the pricing or impact of sponsorships, the League Owner (that’s me 😂) is granting every Main League club a £100,000 cash injection, effective immediately.

💵 This is a gifted one-time bonus, with no strings attached. Use it to prepare for upcoming sponsorship costs, improve your budget planning, or just hold onto it — the choice is yours.

⚠️ But be warned: the sponsor system will be expensive — and this cash boost may only cover a fraction of the total cost. Spending recklessly now might come back to bite later. Consider this your preseason war chest. 💼

✍️ Contract System Expanded — New Structure, New Prices Incoming

One of the most tactical layers of the league — player contracts — is also getting a significant overhaul in how player rankings are displayed and how contracts are priced. 📃📊

🧠 Player Ranking System Update

Previously, teams were asked to submit their top 3 players for each position. That’s now changing — and expanding:

  • 🔼 You must now submit your Top 5 players per position

  • 🔻 EXCEPTION: For strikers, only your Top 4 need to be submitted

This update allows managers to display more depth in their squads while still keeping attacking roles slightly trimmed to prevent oversaturation. It should give scouts and opponents a better sense of where teams are strong — or weak — on paper.

📅 New submission deadlines for contracts are coming soon, and they’ll be posted publicly. Keep your eyes open. Those who miss the deadline may face penalties or lose a window to update their contracts before the next period.

🔧 Price Overhaul Incoming

We’ve heard the feedback — and yes, current contract pricing is chaotic and confusing. That’s why a hotfix or minor patch is planned in the near future to make contract costs easier to understand and more logically balanced.

🛑 This might not be a major update — so it could appear with little warning. Stay alert for pricing patch notes that may arrive at any moment.

🚨 Discipline Crackdown — New Club Fines In Effect

The time of soft warnings and casual yellow card sprees is OVER. Starting this season, the league is cracking down hard on undisciplined play. A new strict fine system has been introduced, and it’s here to hit your budget where it hurts.

📕 New Fine System:

  • 🟥 Red Cards will now cost a team a hefty £8,000 fine — per player, per incident

  • 🟨 4 or More Yellow Cards in a match (across any players) will cost your team £5,000

No more freebies. No more "oops" moments without consequence. Every foul now has a price tag. Teams will need to manage aggression with strategy — because dirty play could wreck your season’s budget. 💣💸

This system is in place to clean up gameplay, encourage tactical discipline, and keep managers accountable. The wild west era is over — this is modern football. 🚨

👁️‍🗨️ Final Words: A Small Update With Giant Ripples

This patch may not be as massive as a full end-of-season rollout — but don’t be fooled. The consequences of these changes are huge. Here’s what to keep in mind moving forward:

  • 📊 Real-time standings will permanently change how we track season progress

  • 🗑️ County D1–D3 fixture tracking is gone — but standings remain

  • 💸 Sponsors are coming to the Main League only — and they’ll cost

  • 🎁 £100K gifted to every main club — use it wisely

  • ✍️ Contracts are getting deeper and prices will change

  • 🚔 Fines are stricter than ever — think before you foul

🔜 Coming Soon...

  • Full sponsor breakdown 💼

  • Contract cost rebalancing ⚖️

  • Transfer window & marketplace refresh 🔁

  • Maybe… a few surprises 😈
