Welcome to The Club Fines & Sanctions!
Welcome to the Fines and sanctions page! Here, you'll find everything you need to know about how discipline is handled within our league. Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new, this guide will help you understand how fines, suspensions, and point deductions work, and why they're essential for maintaining fairness, respect, and competitive integrity throughout the season.
Our goal is to create an engaging and competitive environment where all participants respect the spirit of the game. This system ensures that every team remains accountable for their actions on and off the field.
Why Do We Use Fines and Suspensions?
How the Fines System Works!

Discipline is vital in any competitive league, ensuring participants follow rules, respect opponents, and uphold game integrity. Our fines and suspensions system encourages fair play by preventing unsportsmanlike behavior, recklessness, and rule violations.
The implementation of fines and suspensions serves to:
-
Promote exemplary sportsmanship and ethical behavior.
-
Foster a competitive environment that is both equitable and balanced.
-
Encourage teams to exercise prudent and effective management of their players.
-
Hold clubs to a high standard of accountability for their on-field conduct.
These thoughtful measures significantly contribute to making our league both enjoyable and highly competitive for everyone actively involved.
Fines are disciplinary measures for breaking league rules during matches, deducted directly from your team's budget. The funds are then transferred to the opposing team.
Note: Fines are only applied during regular league matches. They do not apply during cup matches for the foreseeable future.
To help teams understand the financial implications of poor conduct, here is a breakdown of our fine structure:
-
🔴 Red Card Fine: If any player receives a red card, the team will be fined £1,000. This penalty reflects the seriousness of major violations, such as violent conduct, serious foul play, or dissent.
-
🟡 Yellow Card Fine: If your team accumulates more than 4 yellow cards in a single match, the team will be fined £500. This rule discourages repeated minor infractions that disrupt the flow of the game.
-
❌ Multiple Red Card Fine: If your team gets 2 red cards in one match, you’ll be fined £1,500. This rule is here to remind everyone to play fair and stay disciplined. Your match for that week will also be postponed and played at the end of the season, so please take care.
Fines System Explained in Detail
Point Sanctions and Realistic Charges (Twitch Wheel System)

The fine system is structured to operate based on offenses categorized as yellow and red card violations. For example, if a player accumulates four or more yellow cards during matches, they are required to pay a fine of £500 as a penalty for their repeated misconduct. Likewise, receiving a red card immediately results in a more substantial fine of £1,000, reflecting the severity of the infraction. To provide further clarity, let us use Ryan FC as an illustrative example. Suppose Ryan FC incurs a fine of £500 during a particular match due to yellow card offenses. This penalty amount will then be distributed equally among all the other teams participating in the league. As a direct consequence, Ryan FC will lose £500 from their funds, while the other teams collectively gain financially from this redistribution process. The same logic and redistribution mechanism are applied in situations involving a £1,000 fine that stems from a red card offense committed by a player during play.
To enhance realism and unpredictability, we’ve added a unique disciplinary feature linked to our Twitch/Kick channel: If a team gets a penalty on Twitch/Kick, we spin the disciplinary wheel (created by Ryan) to decide the deduction reason.
The wheel includes various realistic scenarios such as:
-
Breach of financial regulations
-
Fraud
-
Misconduct off the field
-
Match-fixing allegations (for fun realism!)
Note: These deductions are purely for entertainment and realism. They do impact your league points or team budget but are a fun way to simulate real-life club management challenges.
